If you haven’t already noticed based on my site, I am a fitness + health enthusiast (among MANY other things). It’s not easy writing a bio about yourself, because my life is an ever-changing and growing process. It also makes me feel a little vain writing about myself, but of course, in order to have any cred, you need to know what you’re talking about, or somewhat know.
I first explored a healthy lifestyle when I realized my Asian gene isn’t going to last forever. Yea, for the most part, I’m blessed to have the metabolism of a 13-year-old boy, but I’m also realistic in that your metabolism slows down as we age. We have to admit, we all get into the gym for vanity reasons – “I want Kim Kardashian’s !@#$%^&* or I want Ryan Gosling’s abs!” But the ones who are truly there for health are the ones that remain and make it a part of their life. Eventually, those vanity gym-goers disappear when they get in a relationship, OR they just give up because they realize it’s harder work than they thought. Yea, YOU KNOW WHAT I’M TALKIN’ BOUT! I make my health a priority, and if it gives me Kim Kardashian’s !@#$%^&* (or close enough), I ain’t gonna complain.
OTHER RANDOM ISH about me is that I’m a huge fan of hip-hop and original good music in general. I’m pretty sure I was a rapper or some kinda street hustler in my previous life. I love the culture, I love the heavy bass, and sometimes, I don’t even mind the verses talkin’ bout “makin’ it rain on dem hoes”. But more so, I love original, obscure music… in fact, obsessed. Finding new artists and blastin’ it in my spin classes is how I roll, which is why I’ve dedicated a whole page to music. Yea, I know majority of my spin playlist is commercial !@#$%^&*, but I totally appreciate unknown, rising artists who keep it real. So if you’re one, hit me up!
And lastly, if you ask me for my opinion on anything, you better be prepared to the handle the truth, because I can be brutally honest…

I love this BIO!! You keeps it real girl….I went on Yelp today looking for a Yoga Studio thats kinda nearby Malden and after a few pages down your Spot pulled up. I immediately went to the website to see what this is all about, and I’m like Hmmm this is different lol. Am I in the right direction. Bumped that I saw the first post about eating breakfast which I am a firm believer and this ill rap about Pancakes pops up. I’m like Yooo this is str8 Hillarious!
Anyways, I am black chick who has taken a few yoga classes in the past and looking to incorporate this into my lifestyle. I am hoping to get into the nitty gritty of things and see how your classes can help etc? Or what should I do hot, cold, with music w/out music IDK!!
Heyyyyyy Elizabeth! Good looks homegirl! Thanks for peepin’ my page and droppin’ a note. Appreciate it! Hit me up at sammi@stopdropandyoga.com and we can chat about yoga options in your area.
